OH. MY. GOD. MUST. NOT. POST.

Mr. REMO2K9, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I don't think him nor anyone he talks to from where ever hes from has any idea what they are talking about.  Better just to let him do his thing and when his bike dies by the end of the year he will learn...

Okay.. seriously.. It's pretty obvious English is not your first language.  I'm sorry people are giving you a hard time on here.  What you are hearing about what people are doing in Thailand is not only idiocy it is also insanity.

Cleaning your float bowls every couple of months will make NO difference in how much crap is getting in to your engine.  Fuel goes Tank -> Lines -> Carb Float Bowls -> Jets -> Mixes with the dirty air you're sucking in -> Combustion chamber.  I would be EXTREMELY surprised if your engine lasts a year.. At which point you will be replacing your cylinder, cylinder head, piston, piston rings, piston pins, valves, gaskets, etc, and all the fun little things that goes along with replacing all that crap.  If you REALLY want to end up spending that kind of money just get:
K&N Lunchbox Air filter
Vance and Hines Exhaust
RE-Jet Kit.  (Jets are the little set of needles and tubes INSIDE the carb that affect how much FUEL flows into the fuel/air mixture into the combustion chamber.)
Those three things will have your bike running much better and sounding much nicer than totally ruining a good bike by running it with no air filter.

Parts from Bikebandit in U.S. Dollars (approximate):
Piston Set: $85
Cylinder: $480
Cylinder Head: $750 (May get damage from overheated spark plug prong breaking off and bouncing around inside cylinder)
This doesn't even include all the little gaskets and everything you need.

Good Luck with whatever you decide to do.  Keep us all updated how that works out for you.
