In Aus, if your lights are not e-marked or otherwise stamped to meet ADR requirements, it may not pass any vehicle inspections and could be defected.

I had the some one on my gs a while ago made by Acerbis(?). Great light output but I remember it being a cheaper than that. I think I got mine for ~$50 shipped. Don't know the aussie exchange rate. You can probably find it much cheaper too since I've seen a lot of chinese copies of those.

I bought one of those and sadly it would not fit unless I move the gauges :(

Personally, I'd stick with the classic style headlamp. I've seen a few of these things around - they always look incredibly dorky.

Whatever you buy, make sure it meets your local lighting requirements.
