I guess I don't understand what the issue is. 

Format every drive on your PC to include physical drives and any separate partitions on your PC hard drive (EXCEPT ANY RECOVERY PARTITION...which "should" be set to "read only" and therefore "should not" be infected). Once you format your drive(s) the virus goes bye bye.

Then follow ohgood's advice on creating a restore disk image...just don't let him talk you into buying a MAC, it takes years to get deprogrammed from that cult...
