I live in the Red Deer area, and was wondering how many other GS500 riders live around here...I wouldn't mind learning to ride with someone that has a similar bike.

I am going for my basic rider training on Wednesday and should be done Friday.  I have purchased my bike and gear, lined up the insurance and just have to get registration on Saturday morning...then I will be good to go!  Obviously, I will be itching to go for a ride...

So, feel free to chime in...

Thanks.

Hi people...

This is ngemel from spain! I login a
some time ago but this is my first post. I'm always trying to learn something about mods... My suzi is 2007 and I've mod front fork springs, katana rear shock and front brake line. I'm thinking about changing front and rear sprockets, but i'm with some doubts

What do you think? I have the possibility of changing front and rear sprockets for bandit 400 ones. They are 14front 46 rear... Does anybody knows hos this mod feels???

So, thanks!!

Since the stock front/rear sprockets are 16/39, going to a 14/46 will make 1st gear pretty much useless. Try posting in the modifications/tech forum next.
