That would look good on my bike.....hmmm might take you up on that deal....

You can paint vinyl without much effort. Wipe with alcohol and paint with spray on vinyl paint. It actually is good for the vinyl, it soaks in and makes a great nice and soft cover.
Cool.

I believe the Corbin seats are leather.....could be wrong.

The Buddha

No one makes anything out of leather ... OK maybe rolls royce ... leather in the american context is vinyl with some texture.
Oh yea, corbin seats are crappy plastic basket weave and grainy vinyl ... Spray away ...
Cool.

Hmm, I may be interested.  Do you guys think it would match the Suzuki blue?  It looks a bit lighter to me...

Turn the seat over and look at that part between the rivets. You see cloth ... that = vinyl.
Cool.

Corbin will make you a leather seat..... They may just put it in the panel your butt touches and make the rest vinyl...cheaper that way....leather is pretty expensive. It's all what you want to pay for...(Haven't looked at their stuff in awhile..)
Yeah  your vinyls will have a scrim backing...

Buddha....they also have "Bonded" leather......but the leather part is in the backing material and the actual front of the material is a Vinyl...

When the 2nd Amendment is lost, the rest will soon follow.

Torque is LBs-FT Damn it.
Yeah that was me.    One of my rides

Hi all,
You know, Corbin would replace that blue panel for you and get rid of the blue.
Then you could keep the seat.
Call them and get a quote. I think they'd be happy to help you.
I love my Corbin saddle and would never want to go back to the stock saddle.
Good luck,

Well just talk to the guy i bought the bike from he said that when he got the seat he got it leather/vinyl the black being leather and the blue being vinyl. He also so said he gave around $425-$450 for the seat cant remember :dunno_black:. i was thinking of doing the vinyl paint. The only thing dose it dry hard or will it flex and crack and all that? I would just keep the seat if i knew that i could just change the color to green. the seat is very comfortable and i dont want to lose that comfort for real.

Paint it with vinyl paint, I dunno how many lanugages to tell you this, it does not look like rattle can sheite ... it looks like it was made that way.

Fine you clown, send me the seat, the color sample you want and say 25 bucks ...

Or pay my R/T air fare, I'll come over where you are and kick your a$$. Paint it, and I hate painting. But vinyl paints up so good. BTW I have had 3 corbin seats, own 2 now, and they are vinyl ...
I have one in baby blue, and it has to be darker blue ... guess what, I'd paint it.

Cool.

I had a corbin seat with a 92 date on the under side of it. That could be as old as it gets with corbin for GS ... could be ... not certain. Mine is vinyl. Try painting some part like the underside of you're not sure, and look between the rivets by flipping the cover over. If yo usee cloth its vinyl.

Joshr08: I am not god, This aspect I have worked with that's all. You are a crook and stop taking it out on all my posts. You will not be able to explain your way out of this.
And you lie about anything that happened between us, I will delete it. Stay with the truth and post away, not in his thread though.

Leather is actually also colored @ some point in its life. However its not as easy as painting vinyl. They bleach it some point and dye it after.

Paint leather with instructions from this -

I have no idea how that end result looks, I've never done it. Vinyl I have done and looks awesome.
