Fitting a GS500f into an SUV?? good or bad

Yeah, ride it. Not a suitable place to haul a bike, especially in "new, freaks if there's a crumb, not mine" condition.

If you need to haul a bike in a small vehicle (preferable one in more suitable or at least "you own it" condition), it helps to start by taking the wheels off and the forks out. If that gives you the willies, you probably should avoid trying to fit a bike in a car.

Or pack less crap, put it in saddlebags, a tank bag and perhaps a trunk, park the GF on the back seat and ride. That may cause an itch for more bike, but it's quite possible to do with a GS. It's a weekend - how much luggage do you actually need? Underwear, shirts, swimsuit, toothbrush, razor, done.

It's a known fact  :D that hauling bikes around makes them want to leak oil.
