Two days ago I finally bought my 1993 Suzuki GS500E and...it died on the road..or so we thought.  A friend and I dicked around for a while trying to figure out what was wrong and we turned it on reserve and it still wouldn't idle right or stay idling for very long.  The owner, my friend, came down with some gas and a board in case we had to put it in his truck..got it gas, it ran but the auxiliary fuel filter was nasty.

so the next day we head to the Suzuki dealership and pick up the 3 dollar filter and take off the tank/clean/and put it all back together with the new filter, runs great now.

Oh, i though this was about a girl.........

That reminds me to check my filter.

Now I need to order LEDs for the Neutral and Oil lights..sucks trying to see them when it's sunny.

By The way...Does anyone have a tutorial on how to change oil on these bikes? Never done it on a bike.

I know how the indicator lights suck in bright sun. I have the GS500F. With the full fairing, the forward, inner front of it is black plastic so I just bought high intensity 12v LEDs from Fry's, mounted them in the front inner black plastic of the fairing and paralleled them to the original lights. I also put in separate LEDs for left and right turn signals.
