hey...i just picked my 03 GS today...oh man...what a SWEET ride...so much better than my EX500...handling is just uncomparable...I LOVE MY GS!!! :lol:

hey frost, did you get insurance yet? i got to get my insurance and can't find a lot of brokers that wanna give me a quote...i read somewhere that you are with statefarm or something like that? is there a catch with you insurance company? do you have to insure your car with them?

ya...i'm with statefarm...the catch is that you have to have a car insured with them...and since my parents car is under them...I got the discount...but the thing is...I'm considered as a independent driver or single owner...or whatever you call it...but if anything happens to me...the whole family that's under the same group policy will still be affected...

but i was kinda forced to go with statefarm...because insurance from kingsway will be 2200 and primmum will be 2300...

Jevco gave me the best quote...from 1300-1500...but they want me to pay in 3 months...and some want me to pay all up front...

you riders in the states have it easy...VERY EASY!!!...paying 1/3 of the price we pay in ontario... :x

first of all...handling is SO much better...I feel so comfortable leaning further than I ever did on the EX...
acceleration is smoother...but not as quick...and top speed or at high speed is more stable...but less power...

but overall...it's a much better bike than the EX...IMO...
probably because its 11 years newer than me EX :lol: ...so i can't really compare the engine...

but I still gotta say...handling is SO much better...even compare to my friend's 99 EX...

Not 11 years newer... Just 2 years... 89 GS and 87 for EX or is that 88. Anyway to compete with GS in handling they updated the EX in 97. No use... the GS still out handles it by a mile.
