OK, I know I'm bringing back a zombie post.  But is anyone that did this mod still around?  How do these pegs hold up in longevity?  Any probs a year later?

Mine were the first pegs for this mod and they are still going strong.  I was concerned that the black anodizing might not wear well, bet very little of it has come off.  :thumb: They look (and perform) very much like day 1.  Very happy with this mod.

What pegs did you us? I can't seem to find the pegs from the original post.

I can't remember what I searched for but the wiki has the term you need to search ebay for.  Its something like gsxr 1000 rear set or something.  If you goto the wiki and look under the upgrades section, the check the sections for pegs its all laid out right there.

Thanks,

Nick

Here they are used as a rear pegs

Now they needed a touch of modifying to get them to work as rear pegs. The peg when rotated forward wont stop in position and want s to keep rotating forward. It needs a stopper put in place.

1. Grind the circular flange so its flat like the body of the peg

What is the circular flange portion of the peg? Are they ground the same as the front pegs?
