1 would be my favorite of the pics.

Your bike looks way to clean especially around your gauge cluster.
K&N Lunchbox, Jardine Full Exhaust, 15T Front Sprocket, 40T Rear Sprocket, Shock Racing LED Mirrors, LED front blinker, LED Integrated Taillight, Additional LED rear blinkers, Scorpion sealed Battery, NGK Iridium Spark Plugs, Cafeboy seat cowl (in process of painting)

to be honest, they are all pretty crap in my opinion. sorry.
not only do you need the macro facility you also need the eye for a good shot.

When you say macro, you're referring to a high aperture lens?  I have one prime lens that shoots 1.4 but I have never called it macro before.  Just curious.

Why don't you use it, then, Jackie Chan?

This guy's doing something.  It's original content.  Regardless of the quality, it's an attempt at something nice.

Whereas you argue nonstop about sh!t no one cares about.  Sniping at this guy with your amazing!!11l L33t photo skillz.  Photo skillz that you never actually show.  Where's YOUR creativity?

How did you psycho-analyze me?
I think I'm smarter than everyone, and bitter because I can't create?
Well, what's that make you?

Believe he is referring to focal length and or the lenses ability to focus at close range.

For some of those shots a fisheye might be a better choice.

Fish-eye lens would be perfect for those shots.  Exactly what I thought when I saw them.
But, I appreciate the time it took to take them and upload it.  And the original content.  Pointing out the few red parts on the bike.  Kind of interesting.
Gives me an idea of pictures to take myself.  So, thank you.

No, wait.. I'm gonna compete with you with my superior camera knowledge.

If you reread my post, you'll see that I'm actually asking him a question, not telling him anything.  I certainly wouldn't claim I have an that artistic grasp of a camera; mine is more the "I was here, I saw this, here's a picture if you want to see it too" approach. That doesn't make me immune to buying lenses like the one I've mentioned, which does the same shallow depth of field that the OP achieves in his pictures.  I have some GS500 porn here http://www.flickr.com/photos/pentaxpeter/sets/72157623488834371/ if you want to take a look at another example of what I'm talking about.

As for your other questions,
Yes, but we all have our faults so don't think you aren't forgiven by the people in your life (I don't think malicious thoughts about ya pal, don't worry!)
I'm just another flawed soul myself, in need of forgiveness for my various iniquities.

Offcamber - thanks.  I have seen it on a few photo blogs but never really understood the term, and never got around to google-fuing it!

Peace,
Syzygy

I think they're good starts. The last two of the gauge would be better if it didn't have the distracting reflection. 1 is good but if you don't know you're looking at a bike youd never find out what it is. 2 you can't see the logo really well, a bit out of focus, and looks dirty. 3 5 and 6 feel a little random and you might be on to something with 4. Experiment a little more with the framing and see what works.

Perhaps you could offer some constructive criticism?

i could but decided just to offer my opinion instead. sue me.

skudman, the first shots werent that good in that they didnt offer much in the way of detail for the eye to pick out at such close range.
much better with the later shots, plenty of detail which lets you see how well the macro performs on the wee camera.

looking good  :thumb:

I like the butterfly shot..... Much improved....

black and silver twin

the butterfly shot is cool, put one (butterfly) on your side cover like in the first set of pics, that would be cool. nature meets machine.   O0

Wow, my wife bought the same camera like 5 years ago and she still caries it in her purse, everyday, always. With kids, you have to be ready and that little Stylus is built solid...
Seriously, though, with your skills, even a budget DSLR would do wonders for ya. I bought an EOS 350D like 3 years ago on ebay, and it was a great investment. I think they go for a couple hundred bucks now with a basic lens.
Good luck!
Rick E.
