hi guys, I'm sorry for being absent so long but you know life goes on. so how about an update on how i am doing.   my wounds from Afghanistan have gotten much better.  for you who don't recall i was shot in the shoulder and hip.   i have worked hard to get back into shape and get back to the old me.   i would say i am at a 7 or 10 right now.  i work out but my shoulder just will not allow me to get to 100%.  i am living in new port richey Florida which is a burb or Tampa.  i love it here.   i also have a job, i am a pasco county sheriff deputy.  i am in charge of the water recovery and rescue team.  after over 20 years as a navy seal this job is really not that hard.   the last month has been difficult. we had 2 deputies shot in the face, both died, by a man with a warrant. after 4 days of house to house searching and breaching doors we had nothing.  i honestly believed he had killed himself and we would find a body later. i was wrong. he turned himself in.   not only is he charged with the deputies death but 2 other persons. 

last week i was in a canal removing a stolen car when it went over my right foot. so now i am nursing a broken foot. but it is not that bad really.  i really enjoy being a deputy and because i am not on patrols i can wear my hair the way i want to. which brings me to another change. i have a hott hott new gf, her name is laura and she is 22. she is also a goth chick.  we met at trade secrets because i saw her hair and i wanted mine similar.  after i got my hair done i went back to show her.  she gave me her name and number that day.   since then we have been together.

other news, in February of 09 my father died of bone cancer.  i never really new the man. he and my mother separated when i was 4 and never returned. but i found him in Oct of 08 and got to spend time with him.  i consider myself lucky to have met him before he died.  august 21st of the same year my only brother Tim died of heart failure.

so that is the bad news.  the good news is i am happier than i have ever been in a long time.  i love it where i live i love Florida and i love new port richey.  i have a new bad ass Chevy s10 a 2004 with less than 30k miles on her.  i have been tricking her out and she is pretty much done. all the lighting, tires, wheels,  carbon mirrors,  matching cap,  jvc deck with 1500 watt amp and 2x12" subs.   so my health is good, i am happy, i have a hott and great gf and have a good job.  also my book is coming along good and is almost ready to go to the editor for vetting.

i miss talking to you guys and always felt like gstwins was part of my family. so i just wanted to say hi and let you guys know what was up.

oh a couple of things i forgot.  i have changed my look. you guys remember me as the "politician" then i went to the surfer look but now i am 100% goth.  my hair is blond and black, i got my brow pierced, a bio hazard tat on my left arm and my navy seal tag on my right calf.  i still can't figure out how to do pics otherwise i would post a pic of my new look and gf.

Sounds like life has been good lately.  It's odd how people really do change sometimes.  I've certainly done my fair share since joining this board years ago.  He!!, when I joined, I barely knew what Armani was.  Now, well, that's changed a bit.  Looking at applying for the WOSTEP school in Switzerland.  Surely, I wouldn't get in to too much trouble for 2 years in Switzerland

Unless their pay scale is drastically different from US Military pay scales, there's not a chance of me going back in at this point.

Indeed. still having a hard time picturing frankie as goth though. i accept it. and will prolly like it, but frankie being goth would be liek you TG becoming a non liberal or somethign. just something i wouldnt have expected. BUT frank i support it. youre happy your GF is happy ( TREAT HER WELL) youve got a job, like ive had, its full of awesomesauce, if i ever get my health straightened out, im going back into the law enforcement field at some capacity, i am thinking chaplain, ( my legs are about useless for jail or patrol sooo,  being in law enforcement in some capacity is an interesting gig, a trillion different things you can do

I'm working really hard at getting my lazy butt back in school I'm sooo close but so far. Voc rehab wants to pay for me to go back but an old school loan is holding me back. I thought I got it all straightned out I will find out in six days. One class from my AA then I can really get back on track!

Well said mary well said. when i get to FL ( about a year. well all get together . idk eat do something fun etc. in the meantime frank, gotta see ya goth tho. seen your YT vids so i know what you look like seen most of your pics on facebook ( were friends there. ), but stll frank as a goth, is a new one.
