I have been riding w/ a permit for 6 months and have been doing fine no accidents or scary situations.

but I did learn a lot in this course and was pleased with the instructors.
I am now thinking of taking the advanced course to refine my skills.

Also took my first long ride this sunday 50mi
wrists got a little sore from braking in the curves,
the ride was very nice, before that I had only used the bike for transportation not pleasure.

some guys on harleys were not the friendlyist though, others were acceptable, but I know its part of the 10 Harley comandments to hate Jap bikes

I think one group saw my HD shovelhead jacket from my punk days and kinda laughed, realizing that HD s are so much $$$ and my bike is not total Ricer status.

Whatever I like ricers for their performance and HDs for their looks

Final thought: Bikes are cool no matter what U ride its all the same kinda lame that most HD guys hate jap bikes, but what can ya do
I'll be the guy on the HD that likes both
