Would someone find a boat already!  I'm dying to play this game but I can't think of any way of getting my bike on a boat around here...

ragecage23

There aren't any boats near me either!

Only thing I can think of is a vehicle ferry. There are only three in the city - two which take cars to the islands and one which crosses a river. Island ferries won't let vehicles into the loading area unless they have a ticket. River crossing I don't know. But if *I* was on the ferry with the bike, how would you know it was a boat? maybe push the bike on, take a photo while still docked - assuming I am not holding up the river crossing business - and remove bike again. What a predicament. HA!

Might need to get creative on this one...

Near a boat would be easy, as I live in Southern California. But this "on" business has got me stumped.

i'd take one of my old gs by my boat... but she's not mine anymroe... does my new bike count ? ;-)

I thought you already did a "next to boat" challenge, so I didn't think this would count:

This is from an 1100 mile trip I took last weekend.

I don't have a picture of the bike ON the boat, though I did drive inside and ferry across Lake Huron.

If it counts, your next challenge is your bike at a campsite, official or otherwise.  There must be some indication it's a campsite like a fire pit, tent, etc.

I don't know anything about anything.  Follow suggestions found on the internet at your own risk.

A shot over the handlebars might work.

Here was a passing ferry. We have 'em really big here in Washington. The main deck is high enough for huge semi's. Bikes get on first and don't have to wait in line.

Have we ever seen a GS500 next to a roller coaster? A WOODEN roller coaster?

Way to go, adidasguy! I really thought this one would fail.
You can go to the link in Mister's sig for a list of past challenges.

I didn't see roller coaster in the list so let's go with a wooden roller coaster. 'tis the season for 'em!

mister

The annual Show is in town. Wood is such a Permanent thing - so no go with this passing show.

The Amusement Parks an hour away have all gone Metal. I could maybe get a coaster with some wood in the pic, but....

The view from the sideline is good  :icon_mrgreen:

There should be plenty - like Hershey Park, What used to be called Magic Mountain outside LA, That place in Cour d Lane Idaho, Adventurland outside of Des Moines, and others. I see them advertised on TV and the Discovery Channel all the time.
If no one finds a wooden coaster by Saturday night - let's ease up and make it ANY roller coaster - wood, metal, in operation or falling down.
I honestly though this would be easier.
And your bike does not have to be riding the coaster, just be in the same photo.
