I've been searching for alittle aftermarket support for my 97 GS500, but seem to come up short on many things.  I would like to clean up the stock handle bars with some bar-end mirrors or some new bars, but I am not really sure where to look.  So where do you get your aftermarket gear from?

Here, Ebay, and my local dealership ( I have a good reputable cheap dealership so take it with a grain of salt!)

I have gotten most of my parts from ebay but I've also gotten a few things from starcycle.com and bikebandit.com. some people have had problems with bikebandit but its always been good for me.

I seem to find NOS parts on Ebay all the time, but nothing much on the aftermarket side of things.  It's not like when I was modding my Subaru.  I could find bolt on kits, injectors, turbos, wheels...ect.  I really have to dig through things or find out what parts from other bikes will fit (with a minimum amount of modification).  Do you all have shops on Ebay that you use or do you just type in some word phrase in the search engine?  I always do the later of the two and end up with about 80 pages of people parting out their wrecked bikes.

lots of things on these bikes are DIY.  as far as bar-ends and whatnot, the bars are standard 7/8th so anything that's made to fit that size bar should work.

most people find ways to do what they want with the bike since there isnt really much of an aftermarket for these bikes.
rustbucket on wheels that go vroom vroom and stuff.

If this freshershest-thread-ever gets spoiled by petty fighting, I'm gonna be so mad.

OEM stuff I generally get from bikebandit or local automotive stores.  Anything aftermarket like bar end mirrors, etc. I get off here and ebay.
