Does anyone here bike with a mountain or road bike? I ride a road bike, a 2005 Trek 2300. Great machine, aluminum frame with carbon forks, seat stays, seat post and full ultegra  :D. I find it ironic that ill wear full gear on my GS but some downhills on the Trek get me to ~50mph and all i got is spandex and a bike helmet.

I also find that drivers care even less about you on a bike despite having the same rights to the road.

Who else rides and what ya got?
First bike - 2002 GS500E - Sold
Current - 2012 Triumph Street Triple R

I'd really love to get a mountain bike, nothing better than being miles away from anyone on some trail up in the mountains. Unfortunately, between SCUBA, motorcycles, amateur radio, power kites, metal detecting, and work....I'm out of time.

I love mountain biking.

Recently, over the summer, I got more into actually biking up/down mountains, oh god it's fun.
