Hi,

Anyone have experience repairing or replacing the level window without replacing the entire master cylinder? Mine started leaking/weeping today.

I found a kit on eBay:

...but it's kind of pricey for just a piece of quartz glass or whatever it is (it does come with two allen head bolts for some reason [so that I'll have to carry one more tool around with me in order to take off the cap?...thanks a lot, man]). If I knew what size I needed I could get a properly sized glass piece and I guess RTV it in place or something (what's impervious to brake fluid?).
