I just want to know if anyone has one and if it has the E in a circle on it like the standard tail light. It seems that symbol is needed down here in Australia to make it legal

Who told you the e is needed? Isn't the E is for the European standards? Check the ADRs or VSI on your relevenat states websites and talk to a engineer. Police are often not up to date with the current rules or even the old rules. Don't take them at their word, double check. They aren't qualified vehicle engineers. Hell in Newcastle only two such beasts exist. If its being picked up on pink slip/ or rwc just get some originals to get through and then go back.
I've been modifying and building cars for some time now (last was a 38 chev that ran all LEDs but for the main headlight) and NONE of them are marked as E and all my cars get engineered to the letter of the law. When I read the relevant standard they had to confirm to colour, position and in the case of rear lights have a red reflector built in. I also found under the ADRs/VSI that I actually didn't need reverse lights on the 38. The gentlemen that did the blue slip didn't believe me, even when the latest edition was shoved under his nose. I think he was still shitty though from when the power steering did an epic failure on him (literally all the fluid dumped onto him) when it was on the hoist with the engine on. Turned out the gent that made my pressure lines got the pressures mixed up.

E-marked lights definitely make it easier to know they are legal, as I am pretty sure I recall the ADR's mentioning  the use of E-marked lights as conforming to the standard.

It mentions that a couple of European standards are considered equivalent, and even includes one as an annex in the standard. It is within that annex that the use of the E mark is mentioned.

I read that front indicators must be 240mm apart and rear 180mm. Also that the indicator cannot be combined with another lamp. So I guess that rules out the integrated tail light for now.

Interesting you can put the indicators on the end of the  handle bars though.
