Is this easy to do? I saw a thing on U-Tube were the bike had Blue light's!!! Where do you get the LED's for that.

I just have to have those!   I'm sure it'll go way faster!

If you have a F series, look at the photos of my bike where I duplicated the instrument lights in the inside of the fairing with LEDs. easier to see than the instrument cluster because you don't have to look down to see them. Also they look cool in the fairing. Even added an LED to the PARK position so if I accidentally leave the bike in park, I can see it as I take the key out (and how many of us really look at the front and back of the bike when we leave it to see if it is in park?)
Otherwise, do check out superbrightleds that Big Rich suggested. A lot of us here have bought from them. Very reliable source for all kinds of LED lights.

I had continuously changing color leds in mine, and they were awesome! I got them from auto zone for less than 10 bucks

Do you just take the case off the bottom of the instruments then take the old lights out and plug new ones in? Not sure how easy/hard this is to do.

Anyone think that white LED's would do the job?

white led's would be more of a white light as opposed to the incandescent bulbs yellowish hue

yes, thats basicly all there is to it.  be aware that leds are polarity dependent, so test them before you put it all back together

pretty much, just make sure you buy one green non polarized bulb for the turn signal, i left my stock bulb in there and replaced the other ones since the bulbs were polarized.. it should take you like 30mins give or take replacing them. thats how long it took me since i was being extra careful...

On Superbright LEDs, which item do you need to buy to replace the lights in the instrument panel? What bulb type/model is it? Also, are there any modifications that need to be done? Is it the same bulbs in the gauge backlights and instrument panel lights? Thanks!
