So I've been torn for a while on whether or not I should sell my bike.  I want a sidecar & motorcycle and I guess the GS needs to go.

It's been very reliable -- I just went on a 1200 mile trip up through Ontario about 3 or 4 weeks ago and it performed flawlessly.  It's been a commuter bike all year.  I think I'm at 14,200 miles.  I've owned it since the 10,000 mile mark.

The bike is stock.  There are some scratches on the top of the tank from my magnetic tank bag, but they're not terrible.

I'm offering it here first for $1500 (and I'm pretty firm on that price) and then I'll put it on CL if nobody here is interested.

Bike comes with Spitfire windscreen, Battery Tender plug accessible from right side of bike, and new Ventura rack (not shown in this picture).  If you really want the Nelson-Rigg bags shown, I could throw those in as well.

The bike is stock in terms of performance though pilot jets were swapped from #17 to #20, and main from #127.5 to #130.

The petcock has been swapped from the '01 model to the '04 model and the diaphragm bypass is used.

aww, i am so sad you're not in CA, or else I wouldve had a friend pick that up immediately. GL with the sale and thats a fair price

Good luck on the sale. That's about what I paid for the same year/color/mileage a few months ago, so the price is definitely right.

On another note, what mirrors are those? I've been looking to replace the stock ones on my GS500, and those look really nice.

They were on the bike when I bought it, so I'm not positive.

I think they might be SV650?  Anyone else have any idea?

Found them! They're Suzuki TS50X mirrors. I got a pair for $40 shipped from the UK. They look really nice. Thanks for the lead.
