From my understanding lawmakers are also trying to make ABS mandatory on all bikes. Boy that'll jack up the price of most mid-entry bikes.

my friends Marine recruiter laid his harly down on its side in the rain one time and rode on top of it on all fours, like a surf board right before you stand up, until it came to a stop. no road rash or injury whatsoever. but hes a hard ass so he can do that.

I wouldn't mind ABS at all. Before I got my GS I was looking at the SV650F ABS. ABS would be really nice to have and I wouldn't mind paying the extra bit for it.

gs500 and ninja's have a parallel twin.

super sports are usually inline 4's. triumphs have i-3's

ragecage23

ABS is not a bad idea.
The Government forcing you to buy it is a bad idea.
Too bad the government doesn't outlaw deer.
Oh geez, I feel an anti government rant coming on.

However, I'll get back on-topic here. . .
Romulux posted a lead to some fascinating "Lay her down" links earlier in the thread. I never realized it was an art form.

And I was mighty curious about the Twism86 incident.
I was wondering how something behind you caused the problem.  :dunno_black:
See quote below. . .

Mine was caused by an idiot behind me but you cant control nature or drivers. Ill be looking for a headlight too. Always gear up man! Ride safe.
