I have this Bellypan I bought a couple of months ago on ebay for my gs but decided not to use it. It's for a 93 gs500 but it should work for any model before the 04 model. I do not have any brackets for it unfournately it did not come with any brackets and I haven't made any for it. But there is a guy on here who made some from exhaust clamps and some extra metal shouldn't be that hard. Heres the link where I bought it http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320560140276&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME%3AB%3AWNARL%3AUS%3A1123  for $86.00 shipped I looking to get $75.00 bucks shipped or best offer. Looking for a quick sale I need to buy some parts for my car so shoot me an offer.

I am amazed where that seller gets so many new OEM parts. I've bought new matching tail sections from him.
In fact, today I just bought the same cowling (for a ton more) HOWEVER it does come with all the mounting hardware and instructions.

Someone should grab your cowling ASAP because originals are hard to come by. Whoever gets it, I'll PDF the installation instructions and photo the brackets. I know for a fact that some of the brackets are still on the Suzuki parts list and cost like $30 each and you need 6 of them. Most parts and the cowling were discontinued long ago.

With photos of the brackets and with the original instructions, anyone should be able to install it.

Someone snatch up this rare item ASAP!

Got mine in today from Europe. It was in the original 1989 box. Has all fasteners and a 1 page instruction sheet. Whom ever bought the "bug spoiler" as they're calledin Europe, PM me and I can copy the instructions and photo the brackets and installation - if you need it.

Hi adidasguy,

You spent over $300 to buy one of the OEM chin fairings in an unmolested box?
Wow!

:)

I'm impressed with the amount of disposable income you have.

Best wishes,

Well, if you include shipping..  And as for the unmolested box, it did give its consent for me to open it so would it be that I date-raped the box or was it just getting to 3rd base on the first date?  :dunno_black:

Anyway, a new unpainted Gimbel is $300 without shipping. The cheap ones look kind of cheap. And then you have to paint it?  :cookoo:

Kind of cool to have a new original. It goes with the original tank and tail covers. Sorry - the headlight fairing is used and I'm having to paint it.

When you're single with 2 cats and 2 GS500's, you gots ta do sumpin wit yur doh. Isn't that what you're supposed to do with ebay late at night while watching Family Guy and South Park?

Next quest:  :icon_mrgreen: that complete fairing for the GS500E which was an option sold in Europe and as far as I can tell, not in the US.

adidasguy

Final quest coming to an end. Found only one so far in the entire world. Phone call says factory original E style bike fairing still in the box and available. 1 only. Red and black (matches tank and tails!). Now the cost to bring it across the Atlantic and then across the US to Seattle.

Was this fairing ever sold in the US?

Notice the inside of the fairing is not empty like all of the after market ones available. This fairing is complete.
My main wait now is for all the new, replacement and extra parts ordered to come in.
OK, sorry to get off topic and start talking about what I will be doing to my bike. I'll hold off and post again after doing something to Suzi or Junior.

Once Junior is determined what he will look like, there will be one heck of a garage sale of all the extra parts I ordered (or should I get a 3rd GS500?)
