Does anyone have any experience with this brand of boots?  I'm interested in their "Urban" boot for commuting this summer.  They look really comfy, though I expect there's a tradeoff in protection.

Look nice. I like the fact that it has plastic ankle protection, at least. A little leery about the nylon seperation in between the leather pieces on the sides, but that is were the plastic protection should make up for that deficiency. Oops, I just re-read it, and it states a nylon shield for ankle protection. Is it hard protection? Oh, well if these are just for work so you don't have to change shoes, I'd go for it. It's kinda what I'm doin' and I don't want to be a hypocrite.

Yeah, I'm only considering them on commuting/work days.  Except for Tuesdays of course, cause that's ride around Mercer Island day...

With my commute being all of 4 miles wrapped around a 10 hour work day, it's just not worth wearing the hard boots the whole time.
