I tried to tight the chain a little bit, then I noticed that the chain tight up at cernter point, then it got loose...this shifting is quite notable, the problem is I can't find a resonable explanation for it..the front and rear sprocket, rear axle, rear wheel, spacer, everthing looks just right, no bent, no  nothing.....and they rotate like perfect, still the chain acts weired as if there is something doesn't fit...

Any idea where should I look into?

New thought: I might switch to GSXR rear wheel soon, so will the GS rear sprocket be directly swaped into a GSXR wheel (5 bolts?)? any modification needed?(cush drive, hub...)

get some help from machinist, it might be the chain being too old......will replace it and see how that goes

Sounds like the chain has tight spots,perhaps from being stood for time?

let me ask this, when you ride does it sound like something is rubbing every few rotations? i thought it was my brake rotor up front at first, then replaced my chain and that was it. when i adjusted the chain and turned the rear wheel it did get tight and loose. some pins of the chain were slighty bent.

i also think that your chain has loose spots(streched in certain places but not in other).may need to get new chain,also check your rear and front sprockets for exsesive wear.these also may need to be changed.

Sounds like tight spots on the chain. They won't allow the chain to bend like it needs to get around the sprockets. So you'll likely need a new chain. And, might as well put on new sprockets as well. And remember to keep your chain well lubed.

How much mileage is on this chain? How often do you lube it?

I do lube it 2 weeks ago(I got this bike less than a month)...and the bike itself has 31***miles

Chains stretch unevenly ... loose and tight spots are par for the course, It has to be with the right amount of play at the tightest spot.

This is just another possibility that has happened to me once; failing cush drive.

On my cb350f I noticed my chain would be tight, turn the wheel, then it would be slack. Bought a new chain thinking the other was worn out, same thing. Ended up being my cush drive was going bad.

A failing cush drive only showed up in chain slack ? It didn't make clunking noises under power ?
