i have to do this mod. Im turning my gs into a good looking modern stunt type bike finally. Gonna get rid of the round headlight etc...

I remembered reading on here about the R6 tail mod...

But according the search, the word R6 is not on this site..

WOW, i find that hard to believe.  Anyhow, if anyone has some good info on this, that would OWN.

no offense intended here but can you really stunt that much on a GS?  You can probably wheely the thing but will it stoppie(sp?!)?  I know I've had my front wheel skirt once when I went hard on the brakes so I am really a skeptic.  Its a cool idea but is it going to be worth all the money/effort/time?

I remember some pic of someone stunting their GS. It included a stoppie so i guess it is possible. Not trying it on my GS though, especially the wheely. My clutch is bad enough.

Yes you CAN stoppie a GS.  I haven't witnessed it with my own eyes, but I know people who have.   There's more to it than just jamming on the front brakes... proper brake application along with grabbing the bike with your knees and leaning properly do the trick, so I've been told.

Personally, I don't have the nuggets to try any of that stuff  :nana:

No, im not gonna be a crazy gas tank smashing, tail-light shattering stunta. But, i do want lower gears to do some wheelies and to mainly make it look like a streetfight-stunt bike.. but that isnt the topic at all here..

I found that old post about the R6 tail...funny how the word R6 was in the title... yet the search disagreed. Anyone try that?
