Goodness that thing is hideous!

Only joking...that's one of the sickest bikes I've seen on here! Well done. Any performance mods or just aesthetic?

I like how you finished the valve covers to match the sprocket and rotors...looks pretty good and ties it together nicely ...not sure about the seat, looks kinda hard...but for short blasts it would be cool...betcha it barks pretty good with the open exhaust  :icon_twisted:...I saw a vid of another bob job...looks kinda similar except the tank was orange...nice and simple though...I like it!!  :thumb: :icon_twisted: :thumb:

Thanks, the seat isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be,I had a fiberglass solo tail on there before with no cushion at all so this one is actually a slight improvement believe it or not hahaha.  The exhaust is pretty loud and backfires a little on hard deceleration,I'm working on a new style right now with a little larger outlet and a different baffle inside..

SWEET!!!!! I was thinking of going that route. I don't think I can get away with the open exhaust here in Va.

What wheels and FE are those?  What size tire do you have on the rear?

Why not with all the straight pipes on hogs? Whats the difference?

not really sure. I have a friend who is a state inspector. he doesn't hook me up but whenever I have a question about the legality of something, I ask him. as far as I can tell, I don't need turn signals but exhaust is a touchy subject.

I love the placement of the plate. that might fly here since the tail is so short. is there a light on it??

Cool FE and rearsets. My favorite is the helmet stand.

never leave home without your trusty helmet stand hahaha

What rearsets are those?  That is one thing my bike is lacking.

slowfighter,

I think you did an awesome job.  Bike is great.

redhenracing2

I would put a newer style tank on it just for the extra curves, but that's just me.

I love the bike, you can definitely tell there is a lot of time and effort put into it.

Try dropping down to 4 Oreos and set your pilot screw 3 turns out.

Congrats, looks sharp. I'm a fan of GS bobbers/streetfighters. I'll ask as well.....what are the rearsets off of?
Much work squeezing in the bandit rim? Would like to see build pics.

redhenracing2

They remind me of woodcraft's sv650 rearsets, but just a little different. Not sure.

good eye, they are woodcraft rearsets for the gs500 but I swapped one peg for a gsxr shifter set-up gp shift..

Na the bandit rim was pretty easy to install.just cut about 10mm from the caliper bracket, and needed a few washers to shim out the sprocket so the chain would clear then hammered the brake arm for clearance..

I have to say I love the dual caliper front end. That simple addition just adds so much to the FE..makes it look fast just sitting there not to mention mean!

After seeing Fry's are you thinking of making your calipers gold like the vavle covers?

I'm not going to paint my Calipers gold, never really a fan of Gold Spray Paint, I like anodized gold and well, the cans just don't come close. I'll be painting my Calipers, VHT's Caliper Black...If I go with SS Lines, I will make sure the banjo bolts are anodized gold, it will be "Just" enough color, without being dominating, I kinda like a muted look.

And by the way, this bike is plain SICK......Outstanding job, simply wild creation, a knock you in the face if you look at me, type of look, love it.

Oh I was pretty sure you were going with Black there Fry. I was meaning seeing you rebuild them if he might now be interested in doing the same and matching his other parts that are gold.
