So i'm a fairly new rider and dropped my bike in a turn...got away with one bandaid and now i'm missing a mirror and a blinker. Long story short, i've acquired new parts but can't seem to get the blinkers to work. I've tried switching the wiring (+/-) and checked the fuse, but i can't seem to find the problem. :icon_confused: Headlights and brake lights work, but none of the blinkers come on now. any ideas? thanks ahead of time!

Did you replace the standard 12v bulb light with LED turn signals?

Where are you in GA? I roam the Marietta/Woodstock area. PM if you're down to ride some time.

As far as the blinkers, I can't think of any reason it would stop working in relation to a spill. Can't help out there.

Try dropping down to 4 Oreos and set your pilot screw 3 turns out.

I would guess a wire came loose in the fall.  Check the wiki for a wiring diagram.

If all the wires are secure, try unplugging the turn signal relay (orange and blue wire) and short the connections on the wiring harness side, then hit the turn signal switch.  If the lights come on accordingly (one side at a time, continuous, not blinking) then the relay is probably bad.

Well i replaced the whole turn signal (not just bulb) with a new carbon fiber flush mount. it was K&S brand but i dont think they were LED's... but as of right now i still have the right side original hooked up and even it wont come on without anything plugged into the other side.

I"m actually from athens originally, but go to school down at georgia southern, so doubt i'll be near your area. Perhaps if i get back up to athens we could get a few buddies together and do a ride towards the mountains sometime though

You're welcome.  And if you get really stuck, let me know.  I live in Statesboro.
