Well it looks like to me his account is frozen on Paypal like I said and now he is more flexible. I would take the deal and eat the $2 but make sure everything is in writing with EBAY and Paypal! They try to pretend they are seperate companies but in reality they are on in the same!

Don't close the dispute until it is resolved. I think he's trying to scam you on that. It happened once with me I closed the dispute and the guy never paid up tried to reopen said that since I closed it as being resolved.  They couldn't help me.
