I guess we've now moved on to kinds and other things. It isn't the picture game anymore.

Oh, well.....

The picture game was fun while it lasted.

Dear picture game:

I loved you. I cared for you. I tried to comply with your every want and need. But that just wasn't enough, and you are now gone. You changed, started wanting things out of the normal and taking erratic turns, asking things of me that no man is capable of. I don't know what it is that you are looking for, but I hope that you find it.

Love, Gavyn.

P.S.: I want my pictures back.

I'm sure the shopping centers already have displays up.

My girlfriend's family will have theirs up this weekend, it's in the front window with a street view so I could get it then.

I think a Xmas tree is doable. People/Businesses will be getting ready to turn on their lights in a week. So yeah...

So, let me get this straight...

At the earliest (we're talking the most Christmassy of Christmassy people here), Christmas trees won't be up for a week, right?  Meanwhile, we're stuck with ANOTHER pic that is pretty much impossible to get (at least for an entire week).

And we wonder why the picture game is dying...

I think I'll opt out of the picture game.

How long since a winning photo was posted? (or that is, how many post ago was it?)
This fun game has turned into a personal blog of what everyone is doing all the time "My neighbor is doing...", "I think I....", "My girlfriend's family..."

I thought it was a photo challenge, not twitter. When you get the picture, you post it and the next challenge. Next comes the next picture and new challenge.

This endless blogging and twittering in the photo challenge is boring and a waste of time.

There's about 30 of them back there, good ol' Wal-Mart.

NEXT CHALLENGE: Your bike with your favorite Waffle House employee.

I am on a first name basis with about 30 between 4 locations, so surely somebody knows one. They must be in uniform, if not in front of their work.

If I get the waffle house one I've got a good idea to get this game rolling again.

Something that doesn't involve other people?  :flipoff:

Hey, I have an idea.

How about we make a giant list of all the possible picture challenges.  When someone wins the challenge, they pick the next one from the list.  That way, there's a sanity check on the list beforehand, and we can cull any challenges that are too location specific or just don't seem like good challenges.

Just an idea.  It could be that the game has gone on too long and we've just run out of good ideas.  Maybe we should start a new thread and reset the list.

Man, the old game on the R6 board had like three/four times the number of challenges. So I don't think it needs a reset.

A list of possible challenges could be doable. I mean, I've got my own list with like a dozen things on it. I compile it by seeing stuff when I ride and I think... that'd be something for the game. All kinds of businesses (retail and industrial estate - open the yellow pages for ideas, loads to choose from and there can be variations such as car hire, motorcycle hire, costume hire, party hire, formal hire, dj hire, dukebox hire, tool equipment hire, etc., etc.), different kinds of machinery/vehicles/plant, street names, signs, certain types of structure or parts of a structure (revolving door, for example, as Part of a structure). If it's a noun it's a thing and it's something that can be a challenge. Objects of virtually any description. Best to ride to them but hey, if you're stuck any object in the house is doable (knives, forks, playing cards, chesspiece or game, etc.). If you have kids, toys, all kinds. Again, you don't ride to them and it's not necessarily an outside challenge but it's still a possibility as a last resort.

Wafflehouse = doable
Wafflehouse with favorite employee in uniform = most likely fail

Everyday Object or thing (business, vehicle, sign, structure, etc., etc.) = doable
object or thing with another person = fail

XLAR8: We don't have Wafflehouse in Australia. Closest we have is Lovely Pancakes.

Redhen: Any chance you can modify the challenge to drop the employee part and just keep the wafflehouse (maybe pancake joint for those without that particular franchise business) so we can keep the game going?
