So, I put the starter on Flick. Had to take the carbs and air box out to get to the broke off screws. Got everything back together last night fired right up.

Today was on my way to church about a 1/4 of a mile from my house the bike just dies. Well, it back fired and died. Had to push it back to the house. Now even at full choke it will barely idle at 1500RPM. I can smell fuel coming from the exhaust. What did I miss putting back together!

check that both carbs are seated firmly, and the screws on the clamps are tight.  if you give it throttle what does it do? ie: rev fine, bog then slowly rev, die instantly, etc..

Another possibility, stuck float. is there fuel in the airbox?

You also could check the fuel valve in the tank. Common omission ...

It will backfire and die when giving it throttle. I did check the fuel valve under the tank it is where it needs to be.

Well at least the starter works now.... 

Check the fuel valves...make sure the vacuum line is on the petcock....Check the fuel line routing under/around your airbox....if you have a pinched line/vacuum line it can starve it for fuel....

Sounds like a lack-of-fuel problem. Open carb drains and check there is good fuel flow from both.

What have you done so far to troubleshoot the fuel system ?

Its funny that it sounds like its running lean, but you smell fuel from the exhaust. Could it be running on one cylinder, and you're smelling the unburnt fuel from the 'dead' one? Maybe you knocked a plug lead loose?

OH wow Oh geeze! I'm sorry guys I never told you what it was  on me!

You know the little breather filter the round thingy with the hose? Well the filter came apart and got sucked up into the carb. Took a sterile gauze and rubber band and viola! Flick is like new!

I was driving through Orlando Saturday and wondered if you got Flick running.
