on weekend the 20th iam going to the GC for the weekend ( work xmas party  staying at the savannah resort) and a guy form work is going on is zx6r so we are ganna do the hinterland pending on check-ins (so we dont have to cart our gear with us) the guy on the ninja is a mental nut rossi wannabe rider, so ive lined up a ride with a chick i meet that lives down there... mental nut guy can go and be mental nut guy and ill hang back with the chick and enjoy the scenery.

Sounds good. Goldy hinterland is great place to ride.

TeamMoto Triumph Virginia Road Ride - November 28th
Requirements: Love of Motorcycle riding, corners and a sense of humour!

Sunday, November 28th 2010 starting from TeamMoto Triumph Virginia store on 1924 Sandgate Rd Virginia at 7.00am (with a sausage in a blanket and soft drink for fuel) our ride will lead off over Clear Mountain, Mt Mee and beyond.
Morning coffee, fuel and chat at Maleny, then a leisurely ride up the Mary Valley to Kenilworth.

The back road along the Obi Obi will take us up to Mapleton then along to Montville for a lunch stop at Penny – farthings.

From there the afternoon is yours, or you can follow us home via a short cut down to Palmwoods, Eudlo and along the Mooloolah Valley heading for Brisbane.  Thanks to Triumph Virginia's senior salesman Andrew Thurstan for mapping out the ride - it should be a great day!

And be sure to keep an eye out for Paul Lewis - you can see the master in action railing corners and having a blast.  Also be sure to ask him any questions you may have about riding, your bike - or even his days on the GP circuit - he has got some great tales!

It better not be raining on the 28th! I have worked over 3 weeks straight the last month and my poor GS has been giving me the puppy dog eyes every time I walk past her in the garage in the mornings to be ridden. 

I am looking forward to this one as these are the roads I cut my teeth on when first riding. Hopefully a few of us can make it.

I'm out on this one unless my Sat Night shift finishes real real early so I can get some kind of shut eye before my Sunday night shift

If you're looking forward to that road, and it turns out it's closed you'd be disappointed. Might pay to double check with the local council up there or something. I wonder if Team Moto knows?

Don't worry about tagging along on organised rides, just get on your bike one morning and head off in a direction. it doesn't matter which one, just ride. Ride until you need to fuel up and then turn around and head home. Look at staying off the main roads and look for the out of the way roads.

Well I am out of this ride too.......bloody work. Hopefully the Obi Obi road will be open soon. Great road to ride.

Cool now iam really keen to get bike fixed and get my p plates . Do you guys know any places to go and do q-ride at i was thinking of doing it at pro motorcycles traing centre at Rocklea. What your thoughts?
