Does anyone have 'Suzuki' on their lower faring?  I ask because my bike is going in to be painted (very similar to the orange on this bike http://www.pacificyamahabmw.com/images/2009_YZFR6_orange.jpg)

I'm ditching all the factory decals (with the exception of the chrome S on the tank) and I'm toying with putting just Suzuki across the lower faring.  Just curious if anyone has done this so I could see what it would look like ...

I bought it this way, you can also see that the front decals are also different, there is no black in between the white stripes, who knows...

He's being a smart a$$ he did the same to my decals. Pay him no mind do what you want to do to "your" bike. I myself am trying to find the larger Suzuki decals to put on mine.

oh, lol.  I guess I missed that.  I'm having this done at a custom shop so I guess techincally it would be a  'done-by-a-professional-at-a-shop' look.  Was just looking for other ideas

I'm just saying what I think because someone asked. And there are lots of professionals out there that will do whatever you ask them to without being able to give you a good answer to the "What do you think?" question. They think you should get them to make some decals so they can make some money  

I'm pretty picky about esthetic details, though. Do what you want, I've just never seen one like that I liked.

When I was rebuilding my bike, I asked the shop owner what he thought of my new decals. "They look like s**t" he said. Kinda hurt my feelings at the time, but it was an honest and valid opinion, and I did eventually change them a bit (a couple of years later...).

Completely agree.  I'm not a fan of decals, stickers, pin stipes, etc etc ... I may go with nothing but the 'S' thats on the tank.  After its painted I'll likely ride it like that until I'm certain I wanna stick something on it.  I do appreciate honesty over "That looks great nice job  "

I do the decals because the plain just looks like something is missing. If I had the money I would have my friend do the airbrushing that I want. But, again that is permanent decals I can completely change. Like the German skull in my avatar it just didn't fit "me" anymore.

I have no problem with one disliking my taste. Opinions are like a$$holes everyone has one. What I take offense to is when it is done with a snide my opinion is better than yours. Just say you don't like it and be done with it.

I sprayed my GS black and have in red 'suzuki' written in katakana, exactly as it appears on genuine suzuki parts boxes
