Should Suzi get white or silver rims? I'm tending towards silver: shows less dirt than white, adds character and white rims might be too much white and detract from the appearance of the white cowlings.

How she looks now:

A little tricky to get a good silver in Photoshop, but I think you get the idea.

Maybe add blue wheel tape to either one.

She's going in for her 4k checkup and I though of having the dealer do the wheel swap so they can't biatch at me about warranty issues - since they did the work. (Since I can't ride right now, perfect time to do it. Centuryghost will take her to the dealer for me.)

I actually like the black ones already on it.   :dunno_black:

But if I had to choose out of the white and silver, I think the plain white (no rim strip) looks better imo.

Yeh my vote is also to leave it stock. If not, then white with blue stripe.

White front, no rim stripe and black rear.

White gets my vote... and a rim stripe, not necessarily blue though

I also like the black ones too but if you want to go for a change maybe put the blue strip on the black?

If you must change then go white, no strip.

This thread needs a poll.

I vote white, no stripe. You can get a set of grey/silver wheels for less than the cost of painting yours, too.

I have a set of white and a set of silver rims. (actually 2 sets of white and an extra brand new white front rim! Tried to sell the unused rim but nobody wanted it. By "unused" I really mean that - absolutely brand new and never had a tire or bearings.)

The silver was a stock color for a couple years. The extra white are from Junior because originally I was going to leave him white until I found the gray rims. Other set of white is a new front rim (I have 2 of them) and toogoofy's rear rim.

I can always change back to black, but I think its fun to change things up a little. It confuses my friends - who then think I bought another bike.

Poll added.

Just gotta copy Flick Eh?

White is the best but be prepared to wash to keep it white!

White front, no rim stripe and black rear.

Hmm, now that you mention it- that sounds nice too!  A black rear wheel would blend nicely since the frame and all are black.  Ah, but no poll option for that.

servus addidas,

do something like that:

cooooool. :icon_mrgreen:

I voted to leave them black as I have done, it matches the chain lube I use.  If it's nice enough out to be cleaning wheels it's nice enough for a ride instead.   :thumb:

White with white reflective rim tape.  And, I'd leave the back black, too.

I voted white, like the way it goes with your fairing colors.
