On the good side, i bought this:   :woohoo:

I strongly recommended this forum to the buyer of my bike.

Keep the shiny side up

With the sun shiing behind you, this bike coming up behind you in my state would look like a cop bike! Heck, wear some dark blue pants, a white helmet and riding boots and most people will think you're a cop even when they can see you clearly.

Oh... nice  :thumb:

Congrats on the new bike even if it is a Honda
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

I'll wager that parts of his bike will not fly off 5 years from now as he is riding down the highway. More than I can claim for my Suzuki...  :icon_razz:

Thanks to all for the replies.

Yes, the new bike is the Honda NT700V.  I do, in fact, wear a white helmet (full face though).  I hadn't thought about is looking like a cop bike.  Around here (Houston TX) most cops ride Harleys with a good number on Gold Wings and ST1300s too.

The NT is a great tourer.  If you are using your GS primarily to commute and rede long trips, this is a good bike to consider.

Keep the shiny side up,

Chuck
