Hello everyone!  I'm so happy to be on this forum!    I'm a regular over at www.nighthawk-forums.com (Sorry if that's not cool to post here) and just purchased a 1996 GS500e for my lovely wife.  I've been checking out all the tech threads and reading all the "fixes" you guys have come up with.    I picked the bike up for $400 and knew it needed some work, little did I know about the dreaded "High idle" curse that it seems to be afflicted with.    I have done my HW though and am ready to take y'alls advice and have her purring by next weekend.  If anyone is in the Savannah, GA area and wants to meet up sometime I'd love to go for a ride.  Look forward to talking with you guys!
