This is not a random call to get some dope.

I have heard of properly legal drugs - like salvia that have some cool effects.
I am interested in a drug called kratom which is supposed to reduce inflammation and work as a pain killer, and not produce much other effects. I also heard that it has a reverse snow ball effect. You get used to taking it, you need less of it and it works better. Something like that.

So has anyone done it. What about other stuff like baby woodrose etc. In asia these are easier to find, In india I am near about sure I've seen it grow wild.

I've had plenty of betel nut. It is not a psychotropic nothing. Its used in india as a breath freshner. The bugger is an astringent and sorta cleans out your mouth after food. The bits of the thing get stuck in your teeth and make life living hell for you. However when its there between your teeth no bacteria will grow there and probably make your breath smell ... well betelly.

You want betel nut, the wifey and kiddo making a trip to India in april for a wedding, @ injun weddings betel nut is more common than warmed up bridesmaids are @ american weddings. I'll have her get a bottle full. You prefer whole nut (hard as a rock and about marble sized) ? shaved slices - about dime sized and have a cool white and pink pattern, or the very much more common cracked nut - like grains of sand - large sand.

I feel that the sand type is the best ... just roll it in your mouth and spit it out in a few mins. Nothing stuck in your teeth.

Ounce ... WTF ... its not pricey enough to be bought by the ounce. An ounce is what they give you when you walk in the store asking for betel nut sample. Gaaaa what has the world come to. BTW I totally agree that many many many good remedies, or harmless fun stuff like salvia is outlawed by the western govt cos the pharmaceutical companies cant make $ off it.

If stuff is perfectly harmless, grows naturally, works to do some good or no harm, it will likely get killed and banned and strangled out of existence.

Salvia is Illegal in Aust What The Fark!?!??!!?!??? It's a god damn plant for fark sake. How can you make nature illegal, serious?

I don't give a rats if it's Hemp, poppy or whatever, it's nature, it's a plant that grows in the ground all by itself. How can you tell nature her products are illegal?

This stuff is like water in india, there is a 100 kinds now that I think of it. I think I'd get the one that is the sand/granulated type, so more of it can be packed into a bottle. We roll em in what are called betel leaves - big heart shaped ones that also have a spicy kick to em, put some rose petals soaked in honey in it, some cloves and some other spices and chew em. Yummy. However I dont believe you can do anything to these to get a high. Yea maybe if you mixed it 50% with lsd, and drop it under your tongue ... then these would make your breath smell good while you trip on the lsd.

I was taking KavaKava when I had my first episode of chest pain. It was initially shrugged off as a panic attack because I had just finally gotten away from my biological creators who had tried to kill me a week earlier. My foster parents were giving me it to help me sleep. Nothing helps me sleep. My parents used to use sleep deprevation as a form of punishment. I'm afraid I can't even remember what is like to sleep through a whole night without waking up drenched in sweat or somehow thinking I'm about to get the pi$$ beat out of me for dozing off. Man domestic violence really messes kids up! Hard to believe that was 13 years ago. Of course its not helping me right now when I stopped by my house that there was a post card addressed from my mother asking if I am who she thinks I am. Part of me is scared to death because "they" know my address now. Part of me also says "YOUR 30 years old! they can't do that to you anymore"

OY, here I am 3 semesters from a BS in psychology but I still feel as confused as ever!

Mary, ill be damned if ANYBODY  EVER lays a hand upon you in anger. i wont allow it to happen. youve done more in 13 years, than many have done in their lives. i have my bad days often now. but i look at what youve had to go through, and it puts things into perspective for me
