Alright,

I have had my DriRider Nordic gloves for over a year now and they are really starting to smell inside (that musky sweaty smell that everyone loves 'not'.  :embarassed:
So I thought it would be good to see how our members clean their gloves.

just toss them in the washer and let them air dry. They'll be a little stiff at first, but they'll softer up after you use them a few times.

Just sniff your socks after a long days ride.

Now your gloves will smell sweet!  :thumb:

My feet don't stink!  :cookoo:

Have you tried some febreeze, Glen 20 or even some sneaker deodoriser?

If this doesn't work toss them in the washing machine on a delicate cycle with some detergent and a cup of white vinegar (This works for sweaty clothes too). Then while drying them stuff the insides with old newspaper to help dry (trust me newspaper works with wet work boots as well) Swap it out after a few hours with fresh stuff.

I have seen on other forum that if they become mould/mildew infested anti dandruff shampoo works as dandruff is a type of fungi.

Will have to try the newspaper. ended up shoving them through the wash on a gentle cycle. tried glen 20 but it just masks the smell for a while!

I ride in summer gloves all year round (and it has been known to snow 10kms away :o) and I have never washed my gloves.

Maybe I should send a swab or the insides to the lab :cookoo:
