Will these mirrors work?

Having just bought these mirrors last fall I can tell you they mount on perfectly in the stock holes on my 07' F.  The only thing you will have to do is drill a hole in the fairing between the 2 mounting holes for the wire to pass through.  Even though they're LED I had no problem with the stock relay (The blink a little fast but not too fast).  Not as good visibility behind you as the stock mirrors but if you're like me you just want to get rid of the stock turn signals.

Thanks for the reply. Getting these is two fold; I broke a mirror  and i want to get rid of stock turn. Now what did you do with the stock turn signal holes?

Nothing yet but i'm looking into getting some flushmount running lights.  First on my list is a new paint job so the lights can wait.

how hard was it to hook up the electrical?

BUMP again, this is on a weekend to do list, they look great but I'm concerned about the electrical (don't want to short something) and how to even access the wires. I've heard it is a good idea to just wire them to the front signals but does that require removing the fairing?

The stock turn signals are wired to the bike via a connection just inside the fairing.  They're actually clipped to the fairing so you have to open the clip and just unplug the signal wires from the bike.  The turn signal will then just pull out of the fairing (provided you took the turn signal off).  Go to the hardware store and buy a few connectors that will fit into the wires on the bike and crimp those connectors onto the wires from the new signals.  Plug and play.  No disasembly required.  If I remember correctly I think I did have to extend the wires on the new signal to reach the connection.  I know there is a lot of talk on here about electronic flashers being needed for LED signals.  My 07' came stock with an electronic flasher as I found out when trying to install the new one I bought.

My 08 also came with electronic flasher, but I still had to replace it when I went to LED indicators, because the original was load dependent, and messed the flash rate up with LED.
I like a non-sequitur as much as the next Giraffe.

Thanks for the help, I'll give it a shot this weekend
