This is the windy bridge that I commute over every day.  Fortunately, it wasn't so bad yesterday (in the pic), since there wasn't a storm front headed our way:



Who says you can't carry anything on a sportbike?  :dunno_black:


(Weird; my last GS had that same dent in the exact same spot.  :confused:)

Once I got her home for the night:




The decals, which were faded and peeling, have all been removed in preparation of painting her.  Hopefully I'll be able to start that Sunday afternoon.  She'll be a badass burnt orange by the time all is said and done.
Happiness is a perfectly-revving engine, a cool, windless night, a stretch of empty highway......and the knowledge that the highway patrol is understaffed in your region.

I once carried a GS500 engine home on the back of my touring bike. Kind of wish I took pictures now. :)

When you paint it orange, are you going to swap the seat or leave it blue?

I'm gonna be looking for a solid black seat.  Hopefully I can find one here to just trade.

(Or I might leave the upper, tank, and seat blue, slap on some Gators decals........  :woohoo:)
