When I bought my '96 GS500E last Fall, I was aware it had been dropped a time or two.  It did not have a right side mirror.  Did the bike come standard with 2 mirrors?  If so, was the mirror mounted inside of the mounting bracket for the brake fluid reservoir and start/stop switch?  Best place to find a mirror that matches the OEM mirror?

Yea, you should see a threaded hole. Thats where it screws in. Do you have the chrome or black mirrors? Plenty of people probably have them here and could sell or give you one. I have a chrome one i could give you for a few bucks over shipping costs but i cant get to it until next weekend.
