OK however I think they should bomb that fool's military complex to the ground. The afghan and Iraq wars are garbage, no win situations got into by people who now want an "exit strategy". This war we can win if the goal is to pound the Eucker to pulp. We dont care about "regime change", they dont have much oil. All we care about would be to cream the Hucker and let the rebels take its course and have an exit strategy. After all he did bomb the rebels pretty much unfettered for a week, so we need to get a week of free reign too.

I've heard he has been in power 4 decades. Why is it that now all of the sudden the people there want him gone? If we're going to send air strikes as we are, they need to be serious about it. Not just hit a tank here or there. There are cities which he is claiming that they back him completely. Tell those in such a city, you have 1 hour in which to leave, every building in that city then needs to be leveled after said hour is up. We would have never gotten Japan to surrender had we conducted air strikes in the same manner back then as we do today. We had to level two of their largest cities. I'm not saying nuke Libya but I see no reason why if we are going to war and supposedly have the best (at least far superior to them) why we can't level a few cities in a couple days without ever having a solider set foot on the ground. IMHO i think the libyans had wanted pres funnyface gone for a while, but well his rule is rather harsh. if he or his cronies had EVEN THOUGHT you didnt think of him as a god, you were pretty much finito. but with egypt, and others in the region kicking out the rulers, the libyans decided he we can do it too. i wonder tho, why here did we intervene?, was he killing his own? sure hewas. so was hussein in iraq. now theres a member of the middle eastern grioup joining hte fray. or kinetic conflict as a WH official called it. in essence a gunfight ( you shoot at me, i shoot back) i think it would be foolhardy to leave him in power. he needs to go. bad things would happen if he stays

Seriously though, people have no idea of their own strength. The biggest secrets of a dictatorship or communist country is how weak they are. Then I started cracking ignitor boxes open, and nowadays I have been splitting open batteries. I figure out how to get a battery rebuilt watch out, I'll plaster it everywhere and drive a few of them out of business.

Anyway, libyans are taking a cue from egypt and tunisia, and bombing the tanks and air planes is a good first step, we should ahve done it sooner, we'd have saved a few 1000 people. I give it a month before the fool is dead and buried.

Bahrain, yemen and saudi arabia and of course zimbabwe are what I want to see fall. Sudan split in 2 already. I'm afraid somalia is likely to go revolution as well, but that will be taken over by al qaida. Well atleast then we have a nice concentrated location to bomb for the next 300 years.

No one has forgotten about japan, sadly you cannot fix an earthquake, Tsunami and nuclear reactor with bullets. Humanitarian need yes, not military need. No use sending an aircraft carrier there. Maybe a ship with food. Pretty sure some of those are on their way. It doesn't make news, ship sailing in an ocean ... yea it is. OK so what else is exploding where is the next question.
