I starting a GS425 cafe build but can't decide whether to get clubmans or superbike bars. Does anyone have either of these they can loan me. I'll pay for shipping back and forth. Thanks.

You could buy one of them for what you'd spend on the shipping two ways... (They cost about $20 ) then you still have to buy the one you like afterwards anyway.

Tell you what... I like the superbike  bars...if you buy both and decide to keep the clubmans  I'll buy the superbike bars from you.

Seamax, a

Wtf? Anyway, are you running rearsets? Forward controls and clubmans can be a real pain in the neck (and back)

I like superbike bars, but if you're building a cafe I feel like the clubmans should be the first ones to try. If you're keeping the stock footpeg setup I'd consider the superbike bars, but at that point you're pretty much just making a gs425 with a cafe tail.

Good point on price and shipping $$.

Good point TT. Here's the issue on why I'm also considering the superbike bars. I want the clubman bars for a true cafe feel but don't know if I can handle the shoulder and wrist stressers anymore but then again my usual commute is only about 20 minutes of stop and go traffic. I also want to ride 2 up but don't know how comfortable the passenger would be with the cafe position.

I saw Scotty's build with the suberbike bars and that looks still nostalgic and comfortable.

Here is the goal for my gs425 with my touches of course but this rider has the clubman bar.
