Yea on 1 motorcycle I saved 150+ ... WTF ... from 2010 when my policy was killed - obviously I didn't ahve a bike and was in a bit of pain from my accident ... geico nearly quadrupled their rates.
Cool.

I absolutely despise Geico. When I bought my Jeep, they wanted to charge me $375 per month for insurance. Went through somebody else and it dropped to $100 month.

Buncha thieves.

Oh BTW the Idiot on the phone - said, you do know you had 2 motorcycles and so you got a multi vehicle discount ... and it was 70 a yr for 1, 138 a yr for 2 ... whopping 3% ... and she says why dont we put in the other motorcycle and see if we can get that discount, yea, your insurance is going to drop from 250+ for 1 to -150 for 2 ... how dumb are these people.
Cool.

They were being overly dumb when I dealt with them last summer. I had the GS500 on a policy, then I bought the Buell, bought a new policy online, but later on I noticed they were on completely different policy numbers. I called to have them combined and the lady said I would get a refund due to the discount, then put me on hold forever, came back saying I'd get a bill for $10 but not to worry about it, because the refund would cancel it out. The $10 balance stayed on my account for a while though, and eventually I called and asked about it. The lady said the price went up because the 1st lady 'stacked' my coverage. Not only did I not ask for that, but she told me she was going to give me a refund, so why would she feel the need to be sneaky by upping my covering to something more expensive?? I also didn't like that even though I had paid for a full year on the buell insurance(6/10-6/11) it was now shortened to (6/10-3/11) because that's when the GS's account ended and they lined them up. In the end they wanted MORE money just to shorten my buell insurance by 3 months. They kept saying "well it'll go down next year when you do your renewal!". Eventually I said "so basically you're telling me it costs MORE to have 2 motorcycles on one policy, and I'll clearly do better to remove the one bike and get a completely separate policy with someone else??" and all the would say was "well... we don't want you to go somewhere else.....", that's not what I asked!! i really don't care what you want. Eventually someone fixed it and I got $40 back but still, how ridiculous is all of that. I only ever get liability though, so everywhere I've looked is pretty much the same.

I just switched my insurance to progressive and they were 1/2 the price of the closest competitor

I never buy wihtout calling all the insurance companies. Geico being my most recent insurer got the first call ... and their stupidity just astounded me, as was their insistence that nothing had changed in their costing process.

Run away and fast.  I'm still in litigation with them 4 years after the accident, they have no credible witnesses and there is legal precedent on the state level in my favor.  Sadly for Flo, it's gone from a 25k medical claim to a 75k bad faith suit.

Geico was OK, but I saved a ton switching to a small, semi-local company.

Nope the other drivers insurance paid out on the Porsche inside of a month and their first offer was acceptable.  (Their insurance was Liberty Mutual, very easy to deal with)

This was the GS.  Coming right up on the 4 year mark from when the claim was filed, just had mediation, they low-balled like he!!, gotta review some stuff, but might be able to increase my actual damages to ~40k making the suit for treble damages a cool 120k.

See, I've never had a problem with Progressive pretty much had them since 99 with the exception of the scam of Esurance. Esurance is another story when my car was broken into I found out my deductible had been changed from $250 to $1000. They said they e-mailed me but I never got it!I didn't notice because my rates didn't change. I guess there will always be someone that has a bad experience right  :dunno_black: I mean people always remembers the one bad incident vs millions of times they do right.

Take a few nights ago I was working at Universal I had a woman coming up flipping out about her kids being missing. How long I asked not even a minute she frantically screamed. I escorted her to Guest Services so they could initiate the BOLO and get the info out faster over our radios. I tried to reassure her saying that we have a 100% find rate and have never "lost" anyone. I walked back to my post and the kids where there so I walked 'em back to mom she started screaming at them and walked out. No thank you nothing! A few hours later a woman waited an hour at guest services just to tell my manager I didn't smile at her when I was dealing with an important call on the radio that she didn't hear. My manager laughed it off but geeze. I also remember when I actually did CPR on a guy and revived him although he died two days later his family got to say good bye. I didn't even get a guest services appreciation card. Later that night another security officer got one for picking up a piece of trash. It doesn't bother me anymore I just do it in the pretense that the only person who needs to see my deeds is God and myself.

Hey the morphine is working I'm rambling!
