My  2005 GS500F went low on oil and then I heard a ticking/knocking noise. I pulled over and it turns out I was REALLY low  on oil and so I havent completely determined what needs to be replaced or if anything yet, but I am hoping to find prices since it might just be easier to replace the whole engine.

I live near Clarksville, TN but could be willing to travel a little to get a good engine. Let me know what you have and how much you are asking for it please.

How much would that be exactly and how hard is it to make that work. I would rate myself as just above average mechanically, but motorcycles are still new to me in that sense. If you could give me more details I might be so inclined. You still live out at NC right?
