You cant toss an intake valve from one bike onto another. Wear pattern and all that. And you can buy valves from kibblewhite for 25 bucks a pop, it will have a fresh 3 angle job on it, you cut your seats wiht a fresh 3 angle job and it will be fine, buy 2 to match ...

In a 4 stroke the head is more important than almost any other part for how it runs and how it cools and how long it lasts. That was why porsche one time in the 60's designed a motor that had oil cooled heads but air cooled cyls, and in reality all oil cooled motors are pretty much focussed on cooling the head. The jugs are always air cooled cos they cant route oil outside the cyl wall.

Or buy a whole head, have a 3 angle cut in it and use it.

BTW suzuki intake valves were made of chitty material and they wear faster than exhaust valves, cos they know the intakes are going to run cooler than the exhaust, so they decided to save .12 cents and not give us inconel valves and instead they gave us cheese valves.
Buy kibblewhite valves.

I can't find gs500 on their website. Also do they cut 1 angle valves too? I really have no need for any more than that. 1 angle just makes it easier for me to cut and lap.

I dont know about 1 angle valves. I would rather hand it to a shop and get a 3 angle cut all around. They run much cooler and seal much better.
Let me see kibblewhite site, but you could call them, even 2-3 years ago I know someone who bought from them.

hahahah, i dont hand my stuff to a shop for anything. but yea 1 angle will seal, transfer, and flow just fine for regular street use. I guess I'll give them a call cause an OEM is like $32 something for one plus shipping
