Hey guys.  Just wanted to introduce myself since I'm new to the forum... and motorcycles as well.  Just bought my first bike the other day.  Its a 2000 GS500E with just over $14,000 miles.  I have wanted to own a bike for as long as I can remember, but only recently did I fell I was responsible enough to ride one.  I got a pretty good deal on the bike.  Cosmetically it is flawless(never laid down), but it needs a little work to get running.  It has been setting for about a year now so I'm pretty sure the carbs are just gummed up.  Looking forward to gathering as much info from this site so I can to get her running!
