anyone have any time slips on the 1/8 mile?

i asked this questions month ago and got the answer from SVbadguy

he said that he did the basic mods like most of us do...rejett, pod filter, exhaust

he said he ran about 13.7 @ 93 mph on the 1/4 mile

Best 1/8 mile speed=78.54mph
Best 1/8 mile time =8.507

14.2 @93mph , tied with the Acura NSX and a '97 Pegaso 650.  Funny, they list the '97 BMW F650ST (same bike as Pegaso, I think) with a 14.1 quarter mile.

(take anything there with a grain of salt).

it's hard to belive that our little GS runs 14.2 stock...

mine is a '92 with the mods listed in my signiture...i'm a 190 pound guy and i'm sure that i will run about 13.5 - 13.8

i will be going to a drag strip in about a month or so

Well, here are all the test figures I have found on the GS over the years from the various moto mags.  Actully 14.2 is a tad slower than average.
