Would these work in an e model bucket?

It absolutely will not ... why, cos it costs 490 bucks ... that is more than the GS has in terms of CC ... people have done hid conversions here man, much much cheaper, even wiht a ballast it is cheaper.
Cool.

I dont mind spending big bucks on the HID conversion, because I know cheap ones suck and its also bad to put HIDs in a bucket for halogen lights. Who has done it on an e?

Buddha...if the man has the money let him spend it.

Lights are something my life depends on at night. Thus, I don't want my retro-fit of a cheap HID blinding oncoming traffic and getting my ass mowed over by a car.

Thank you t-bolt! That just may work.

That appears to just be one of the HID kits from DDM Tuning on a regular housing headlight housing . . . . maybe. They dont mention the housing being anything special.

I bought 4 of their 55 W 4500k automotive kits for the headlights and foglights in my 2006 GTO. THey made a big difference in the fogs and a noticable difference in my low beams. I have had them in for over 6 months now and they colors on the lights look OEM. The only problem I have had is that the fogs appear whiter than the lows which I am going to blame on the projector lenses.

Im going to talk to some guys around here that have retrofit kits on their bikes... mostly 600cc rockets and supermoto bikes around here... and see what they did, how they like it and maybe see the light pattern on a wall..

I may have to go the retrofit route. I dont really want to change the entire light bucket.

Let me know how it works out. I would also be interested if it throws out a nice pattern without having to rip your hair out.
