Hey guys,

I'm preparing to take the fairings off my GS500F (converting to naked with stock headlights) and wanted to know, where is the horn normally mounted on a stock 500? I notice that I can see it sticking out under the fairing, and would like to move it to a location where it protrudes less - if I could just put it where a regular GS500 has it, that'd be ideal, especially if it's easy to move.

Mine is smack dab between the front forks, just below the headlight, mounted to the outside front of the frame.

Pictures would be awesome if some one has/could take some.

As requested. Don't mind the rust.   I plan to do a frame-up rebuild/restoration this fall when I take it off the road for the season.

Thanks very much - I'll have to look and see if the mounting holes there are on the F's frame.
