My '91 needs painting. There's rust in few places. Any suggestions for rust and paint removal of the frame, frame covers, and tank? Which sanding techniques will work? Planning to mask areas to strip, sand & paint bike. Media blasting is great if possible.

No. Bike still together. Don't have a garage so I was gonna mask areas of the bike.

They have rust encapsulator, rust penetrator, paint adhesion stuff and just about everything you'll need.
They also have instructions and FAQ's and a help line.

That cover the engine and paint part never works out as well as you hope. I know of prople who have done it ... turns out just OK for the very visible parts but the hidden parts still rust and still progress and nicely rust the whole bike again.
