Anyone have any pics of some GS500E's at night lighted up with LEDs?

First seen a few bikes lighted up nicely at the start of the season.
Didnt know they were legal (unblinking) here in Pa until someone asked in the safety course.

Absolutely Love the look of them on the right bike and would consider adding them to mine in a heartbeat if it looked right.

Also adds Alot more safety to be seen at night (when I ride to work) which is a Big plus as well.

I dont have pictures and I dont have lights on mine yet, but when you do it, be sure to buy the LED strip lights from ebay and dont buy them from Warhorse. They are crazy expensive for accent lighting. A guy that was taking the MSF when I did paid something like $150 for a light above his back tire and one inside the fairing on the left and the right sides.

Ebay you can get the 30LED strips for a couple bucks a piece, throw on a relay and switch setup and your golden.

Yeah I noticed those while ordering some parts.

Only pic I found so far (cant save and post the actual image tho :(

doesnt look bad but not enough lights in that photo.
needs at least one to light up the rear section.

I did this to Suzi. They were blue - but can't use blue because that's reserved for cops. White looks better, anyway. (There is a picture with blue if you search the Wall of Fame for my pictures)

lol anything u DONT have for these bikes?
Sweet tho

Gonna look for a neon color for at least the engine and rear section.
But thats after I repaint, degrease, and clean everything.

Not one for these lights on cars but I dunno what it is about them on bikes, they just look really sweet.

IMHO, looks stupid....but a lot of people say that about me too, lol...
Have you learned the lessons only of those who admired you, and were tender with you, and stood aside for you? Have you not learned great lessons from those who braced themselves against you, and disputed passage with you?

Yeah its still questionable on mine specifically.

But on a chromed out V twin cruiser, lighting up the engine area.. MMmmmm

I've thought of doing some led lights just to light up/flash when in bad traffic or when someone ahead looks like they aren't paying attention or could pull out in front, or into you.

I have a red led bar over the rear shock and front wheel area. I'll see if I can get some pics tonight.

Are they easy to install?

I've looked a few up in the past few months and did a lil reading.

The lights themselves seem so, so far I have just seen strips with adhesive.

Wiring, Not my department! hahaha

btw bikes look nice but still waitin for an E with them installed vs all these F's. :)

I'll google a bit more in a lil while when I get done with what im currently doing.

didnt even realize this old thread got new replies... hahaha

^^^ very nice, even tho theres no chromed out engine like a cruiser to reflect and illuminate the light more.
All I wanted to see :)
Def. going to consider LEDs when I get the bike lookin better.   :thumb:

Thanks for the compliment. I've never put LEDs on anything before, so I'm really happy how it turned out.  Here's one more pic I look under low light conditions.  I will do some more night shots later, once I put the bike back together (it's getting a valve adjustment.)
